David is a digital marketing veteran. His career in interactive spans 20 years, helping brands navigate the constantly shifting digital landscape to achieve their strategic marketing objectives. An early adopter of content marketing, he has been helping brands make meaningful investments in digital experiences, comprised of content, data and technology that are focused on driving business impact. David joined Empower MediaMarketing in 2011, and pioneered Empower's Content Marketing offering, further enhancing Empower’s existing lead-gen and demand-gen capabilities. David has deep digital experience across a diverse range of categories and brands, including around-the-home, DIY (Rust-Oleum, Gorilla Glue, Shaw Floors), Health and Medical (Ethicon, LasikPlus), Car Care & Appearance (Valvoline, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Eagle One, Turtle Wax), CPG (Procter & Gamble Brand’s - Dawn, Cascade, Swiffer, Febreze, Gillette, Duracell - and Land-O’Frost, Bush’s Beans, Kikkoman) as well as Financial and Industrial (U.S. Bank, Ashland Inc.). David is frequently invited to share his expertise and thought leadership on the subject of Digital Marketing at conferences and in industry publications such as Content Marketing Institute, Chief Content Officer magazine, Forrester and AdAge. David is also an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri’s Reynold’s School of Journalism where he helped pioneer the content marketing curriculum and speaks annually at their annual, digital symposium.
