David Gladu is Vice President & Partner at Briva Finance, an independent lender backed by institutional and private investors. Briva delivers tailored, fast, and flexible bridge financing solutions, giving clients the time they need to execute their projects while securing long-term financing strategies. The firm helps monetize assets and generate working capital through the financing or refinancing of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate, land, and equipment. David holds a Canadian mandate with a focus on expanding Briva’s presence in Ontario and Western Canada. With over 25 years of experience in equipment and real estate financing and leasing for mid-market and large corporations, he also brings significant leadership expertise, having managed teams of more than 500 professionals. Before joining Briva Finance, David held senior leadership positions at GE Capital, Mitsubishi HC Capital, and eCapital Corp, where he oversaw credit, asset management, and business development. These roles established his reputation as a results-driven executive in the specialized finance sector. David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from HEC Montréal. He is passionate about building long-term partnerships with small and medium-sized businesses and leveraging Briva Finance’s strong foundation in specialized finance to support clients’ evolving funding needs and drive their next phase of growth.
