About David Glover

I have over 25 years experience leading Business Continuity across financial organisations and IT divisions within large public entities where I was responsible for the development and implementation of their business continuity programmes, that required maintaining alignment with the ISO, government and APRA Prudential Standards. In my roles as Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Coordinator I was responsible for developing, training in, and maintaining the BCP plans and scenario packs, and the Crisis Management Plans under a Resilience Framework. I oversaw the regular testing, both live and technical, of the plans, and oversaw the Business Impact Assessments and Risk Assessments. A key element of my roles was to create a business continuity culture across the organisations. With a strategic mindset and a knack for effective project execution, as a BCP Consultant I led critical BCP initiatives that safeguarded and empowered the organisations in any scenario. I have strong experience in IT Risk management, responsible for developing and maintaining the IT Risk Management frameworks (including the introduction of a regular attestation process), facilitating risk workshops, and coordinating the IT audit programs. In addition, I have over 20 years experience in Application Service Managment being the bridge between the business and IT, ensuring that IT Services were optimised to meet the current and future needs of the organisations. A key motivation was to add business value via the effective use and configuration of IT solutions. As a CPA I have a sound knowledge of commercial operations and have always provided advice at strategic and operational levels. I have a strong understanding and experience in, IT Service Management (ITSM) and delivery of IT products and services (with application management focus) across- ITIL:+ Incident Management + Problem Management + Request Management + Change Management + Service Catalog - Vendor Management - IT Risk Management - IT Governance - Application Portfolio Management - Test Management - Solution Delivery LifeCycle (SDLC)- Stakeholder Management I have broad experience in IT project and program management across a range of technology projects, including selection, implementation, development, upgrades, releases, improvements and decommissioning – capable of running multiple projects simultaneously. I have proven experience as a results driven Team Leader across a variety of teams across multiple IT disciplines, and programs of work.
