About David Goehring

Create great housing and change the world-(preferably in bio-materials).I have always had a passion for HOUSING. As a typology, dwellings are intrinsically linked to humanity. It's something we all share and as an architect it allows me to be rooted in society. I have experienced the 'living' in houses I have built, along with the adults and children who have grown up in such environments. It is one of the great joys in my life to share with others the most intimate of structures on earth- the home. My professional career is centred on four skill sets- rapid 3D visualisation, being able to anticipate opportunity, being of service and resiliency in design. With over units designed and/ or built in the US- California, Minnesota, Washington DC, The Netherlands, Middle East, China and most recently Denmark, I have enjoyed many aspects of home architecture and urban planning. Preferred media is Sketch-up and a box of Copic colour markers. I love to draw and getting attention with lively architecture. Parts of my portfolio is posted here on LinkedIN.
