About David Gorgan

I am a Business Analyst with strong organizational ability, thriving in challenging, fast-paced environments. I am passionate about company-wide digital transformation projects where a fresh perspective is needed to drive the continuous improvement of key business processes. Core aspects of the BA role that I thoroughly enjoy include:+ The identification of requirements across business units and partnering up with the relevant stakeholders.+ Conducting product research to identify market trends and determine potential system improvements.+ Documenting and developing user requirements by creating business process diagrams, flowcharts and system specifications. I am a BSc Business Computing graduate from the University of Bradford. During my four-year spell at the university, I have attended numerous modules which have equipped me with the necessary knowledge to understand all key cycles of an IT project in a business regardless of its size. For my Final Year Project, I have developed a Machine Learning web application which enables users to compete against the AI in buying/selling stocks. I have developed a linear regression model by using Pandas and Scikit Learn to predict stock price. I have used the React.JS library in order to visualise and plot the data, optimising it for both desktop and mobile.
