Background
About David Goshien
Worked a career in Fire Rescue for a busy department in South Florida. Retired early as a Fire Captain / Paramedic but now I love the adventure of remote medical work and the rewarding experiences it offers. I currently work in remote Alaska as a Fire Captain and port medic for the Red Dog mine port facility. It is a position that brings challenges with medicine and providing extended care for patients. Red Dog FD challenges include industrial fire rescue, hazmat, rope tech and confined space. I have 20+ years working as a medical professional under extreme conditions and high call volume systems. I have additional tactical medical experience, flight medical and wilderness/remote medical experience. I can now add industrial fire rescue to my experience as well.
