I am a highly experienced SQL Server and.Net Developer with a track record of using Microsoft Database, Business Intelligence and Web technologies to deliver high performing systems that drive efficiencies and significantly improve customer and end-user experience. I have worked extensively within the private and public sector. I take pride in writing flexible, reusable and highly testable code which is easily maintainable. I also have deep expertise in troubleshooting complex software applications and have recovered a wide range of failing projects. One of my stand-out projects as a SQL Developer involved recovering a range of severe system outages for a Managed Service Call Centre, where I succeeded in restoring stability within one week and reducing incidents by 98% within 3 months. I currently operate as an independent contractor (and have done since 1998) and I am able to very quickly come into an organisation, understand the business problem, and then develop and deliver appropriate solutions.
