David Greenberg began his career in real estate as an appraiser for a nationally recognized firm that specialized in the valuation of senior living communities. David's niche was market analysis for developers, lenders, and investors during the early years of the private, for-profit ALF industry. Within a few years, David transitioned into the field of brokerage, working with assisted and independent living facilities, skilled nursing homes and psychiatric residential facilities. This experience led to a transaction-based business that included memory care facilities, drug and alcohol treatment centers, brain trauma communities, and residential care homes. David also served as an expert witness in consultation with other specialist in the retirement community industry. His expertise results from a strong foundation in research, data analysis, and market knowledge in this unique sector. David has directed over $125 million dollars of sales in senior living properties and development land. The formation of Senior Property Group with partner Winston Lovelace CPA, allows each partner to take advantage of his specialized skill. David's knowledge of the Florida market is well established. David is a member of various professional organizations, including the Florida Assisted Living Association. He has also served on the advisory board of North Sarasota’s North Trail Redevelopment Partnership (NTRP). David also has a second brokerage business: Community Commercial Real Estate. Along with partner, Richard Solano (the former president of a Florida regional bank) the partners handle management and transactions for a small group of investors from the U.S. and Europe. Richard's knowledge of banking is invaluable to our client base who own: shopping centers, farms and ranches, apartment complexes, marinas, and vacant commercial land.
