About David Grillo

Greetings, My name is David Grillo. I have been a Florida resident in the Tampa Bay Area since 1977. I've seen the amazing growth of Florida's west coast from housing to roadways. I'm originally from Rochester, New York, where I learned to be a photographer in high school, but my love of outdoor activities and warmer weather fueled my move to the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. There are so many wonderful things to see and do here and I love to capture life's precious moments through the camera. My early employment consisted primarily of retail management and worked part time in academia. During that time I worked on pursuing a degree in Geography. Prior to graduation, I was introduced into transportation planning. Following graduation, I continued employment in the field. I worked on several projects and have learned a variety of skills thanks to my colleagues and co-workers. I'm always open to challenges, opportunities and learning experiences. I came out of retirement to assist FDOT with rail projects. I work a 40-hour work week at the FDOT District 7 building in Tampa. I also sell records and music related media at shows, conventions, and select concert venues. I like traveling across the USA and Europe. I take one nice two week vacation yearly and have seen many countries. My interests are listed below.
