Experienced Healthcare clinician with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. 15 years experience in Clinical Research. Past experiences working as a research manager in pediatric cardiology. Skilled in Research methods, clinical trial design. Strategic planning and project management experience. Provide oversight and operational management for all Clinical research within the UPMC Heart Institute. Research interests include: pediatric medicine, preventative medicine, congenital heart disease, type 1 diabetes and other chronic disease therapies. My career goals are to continue to bridge the gap between research and clinically driven outcomes via the use of clinical research. I am currently working with Medtronic Inc. in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Operational Unit as a Principal Clinical Research Specialist. My main responsibilities include: study leadership and study management for various different therapeutics. This includes: budget oversight, site oversight, regulatory oversight and various other areas of clinical research.
