Experienced epidemiologist in health services research and policy, with an emphasis on translating critical care therapies from "bench to bedside". Study design, data collection and analysis, as well as identification of underserved populations and physician education. Data mining and integration of large IT systems for accreditation, compliance, and clinical quality. Specialized in evaluating tPA therapy for ischemic stroke and more recently, mechanical thrombectomy. I use a classic public health approach to health services research in which social, behavioral, and environmental factors may be significant factors in stroke etiology and treatment outcome. My goal is to facilitate innovative research to improve patient outcomes while exceeding compliance requirements and containing cost.
