With 6 years of industry and 2 years research experience in operations research and mathematical modeling, I lead and deliver data-driven projects at QuantumBlack, a McKinsey company, that deliver innovative solutions and decision-support tools for complex organizational challenges. As a Jr Principal Data Scientist, I apply machine learning and optimization techniques to diverse domains such as supply chain management, transportation, and basic materials, creating value from data and technology. Experience across Latin America as well as globally (in the Americas and Europe), and collaborating with global initiatives. I have a master's degree in operations management from Universidad de Chile and a strong background in Python, SQL, AWS, and several data science and optimization frameworks and tools. I also enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams and learning from different perspectives and experiences. My goal is to bridge the gap between state-of-the-art methods and real-world practice, making relevant, lasting impact on the organizations I work with.
