About David Halek

I am a software developer and I'm looking for work. I'm mostly experienced with C#.NET and Python. I have worked with a lot of languages and frameworks and I'd love to branch out and learn some new stuff. Big apps, little ones, web, mobile, desktop, and console I love them all. I love to nurture code and watch it grow. With over three years at IO Datasphere (between two stints), I've embraced multiple roles showcasing my adaptability and commitment. I have used Python and C#/.NET, as well as PHP and SQL Server and other databases and libraries. As a Software Development Consultant at Marathon TS, I specialized in C#/.NET development within MVC architecture and using ASP.NET. This was complemented by experience with SQL Server and MySQL. I also used Python, PHP, JavaScript, and Linux there. AWS DevOps, CodeCommit, Git, and AWS EC2 and S3. I am also a USMC veteran and while my experience as a machine gunner doesn't exactly transfer to my line of work, the emphasis on teamwork does.
