My story begins with my own struggles with addiction, which led me to seek help at Aspen. I can still remember the uncertainty and fear that surrounded me during my first days in treatment. Yet, it was within those walls that I discovered a community of individuals and professionals who understood my struggles, who walked alongside me, and who inspired me to reclaim my life. I found hope, healing, and an unwavering support system that made all the difference in my recovery journey. Now, as a trusted leader at Aspen, I am committed to ensuring that those who follow in my footsteps receive the same compassion and guidance that I did. My role is not just about coordinating programs and events; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and connection among our alumni. I strive to create an environment where individuals can share their stories, support one another, and celebrate their successes. Being in recovery myself allows me to connect authentically with our alumni. I understand the challenges they face, the victories they achieve, and the ongoing work required to maintain sobriety. I believe that sharing my own experiences can offer hope to those who are still in the thick of their struggles. I want them to know that recovery is possible, that they are not alone, and that they have a community willing to walk with them every step of the way. In my role, I also focus on building strong relationships with local resources, organizations, and community leaders to create a network of support for our alumni. I am passionate about connecting individuals with opportunities for continued growth, whether it be through job placements, educational programs, or simply a space where they can gather and share. My goal is to ensure that recovery doesn’t end when treatment does, but rather becomes a lifelong journey filled with ongoing support and empowerment. Every day, I am reminded of the resilience of the human spirit. The stories I hear from our alumni inspire me and reaffirm my belief that recovery is a transformative process. I feel privileged to witness the incredible transformations that occur as individuals embrace their lives after treatment, carving out their own paths and thriving in the process. My commitment to Aspen Behavioral Health and its mission is unwavering. Each day, I strive to give back to the place that gave me my life back. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and support others in their journeys, just as I was supported. Together, we can continue to build a culture of recovery, hope, and resilience.
