About David Harrison

As a current student majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology, I get to grow as I feed my passion in the automotive industry. I have gained much knowledge and skills in my major in the subjects of automotive systems, and mechanical engineering. I am currently seeking internships to develop knowledge, practical skills, and experience by practicing what I know in the position I will hold. I have had experience in innovating, planning, project management, mechanics, teaching, volunteering, driving and operating vehicles of all sizes and varieties. Working with my hands, and innovating to find solutions to problems, or completing a project is exciting to me. Cars have been a large part of my life for about a decade now, and the enthusiasm and desire to learn more grows evermore. I have been a member, leader, and driver for the SAE BYU-Idaho SuperMileage team that has increased my enthusiasm for project planning, innovation, and execution. I enjoy excursions in jeeps and motorcycles with friends and family. I love finding fixes for worn out or damaged parts on my vehicles with new and improved ones. My current jeep has been in my family for years, and I am lucky enough to call it my car now. My family and I enjoy making modifications to improve the safety and performance of it, and the same applies to our motorcycles and campers. The standard of safety, practicality and efficiency of today's vehicles is ever growing, and I want to be a part of raising that bar.
