About David Hauser

Ladies and gentleman, mentors, colleagues and friends, Let me start by saying thank you for your time and feedback! If we have met, hello again, if not let me briefly introduce myself. My name is David Hauser. I am 33 years old, have an M-arch from The Savannah College of Art and Design and co-founded Urban Purpose Atlanta, an 'up'​-ward thinking design-build-development firm with Micaela Roberts in 2013. urbanpurposedesign.com My educational experiences include 4 years attended seeking a business degree from Georgia Southern University, the completion of an undergraduate degree from SCAD (A Bachelors of Fine Arts-Architecture) and an M-arch from SCAD. My professional experiences include various construction jobs, an internship with Gensler Atlanta, 5 years of high end residential architectural design and field work including construction management and coordination duties with Guenzi Vargas Studios and then Whole House Studios Savannah/Atlanta, and my own LLC serving a small base of residential clients, HAUS LLC. Re-branding, re-structuring ans re-location of Whole House Studios from Savannah to Atlanta, and my current endeavor, co-founding Urban Purpose Atlanta. In all my design, my architecture and my creative endeavors I seek through research and synthesis a realization. This realization seeks though a holistic process to be a holistic thing; each part containing the whole, and the whole containing each part. I am a solver of problems, a creator of process and a designer of experience. I humbly acknowledge and embrace with vigor, my lack of and ever growing quest for knowledge in order to strive for the unattainable, perfection.
