SCREENWRITING I studied journalism and screenplay writing (through QPIX) and have written many screenplays (shorts and features) and novellas. I have dabbled in short films as a writer and producer (including ‘72 to 1’ which screened as part of Flickerfest) having two short films made (by ace director Shayne Cantly) before moving onto feature screenplays. I worked for the Sydney Olympic Radio Network and was part of delivering a successful trunk radio network solution for Telstra during the Olympics. For Energex, I started in the contact centre, looked after their processes, worked on process mapping for the trade sale project when full retail contestability arrived, then joined the Premise Data team, putting processes and procedures together for this new group. I then became a Business Analyst and worked on many cross-stream processes for Energex, such as coordinating the response to a RoLR event, Transposed Metering and Bulk Metering Conversion. I then moved to Asset Management. This has involved being part of an AEMO working group (CSDNWG - Customer Site Details Notification Working Group) where I represented Energex and drove changes that have resulted in both FTE and financial savings for the company. I have worked on initiatives to support a new DMS by providing better network data, including improving the granularity and accuracy of the information. I provided requirements for a new system to improve customer to network connectivity then tested and deployed it, training staff in its use.
