As the CHRO or Payroll Manager in your organisation, how are you lowering the risks and costs associated with your manual payroll processes? The amount of manual intervention between HR and payroll results in unnecessary costs, the risk of over or underpayments, and higher likelihood of compliance and GDPR events. As the Client Business Partner at EPI-USE, I guide organisations through the processes of implementing strategic HR Payroll and Talent Management systems from SAP – helping them to understand what is possible and how they can achieve excellence. Having worked with many HR teams over the last 13 years, I have seen HR move from being seen as a transactional back-office function to a strategic business asset valued by senior directors. This change has been in part due to the development of digital experiences we all use in our private lives, and we expect the same at work. I help our clients recognise the opportunities that are available to them and how they can implement then into their businesses. The expectations from a digital experience of quick and straightforward deployments need to be balanced with the reality of data migration, GDPR, change management and interfaces. I see this as an exciting challenge as the benefits are high for those who can achieve this. Our People Solutions are currently delivering this to our clients now.
