Over thirty-five (35) years experience in Systems Engineering, primarily in Naval Combat Systems, Naval Tactical Data Link systems and Naval Messaging. Over sixteen (16) years experience in software testing. Over ten (10) years experience in DoDAF Architecture development and assessments. Provided architecture (SPAWAR 52100) Technical Authority (TA) Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) assessments of Programs of Record (PORs). Developed architecture for several programs. Provided Systems Engineering support to the Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio Systems (MIDS JTRS) program in Naval Integrated Fire Control and Tactical Targeting Network Technology (NIFC TTNT). Provided Systems Engineering support to PMW 150 NOBLE FoS project, including DoDAF and Data Management support. Provided systems engineering support to Naval Messaging POR. Provided system engineering and architecture support to several Navy projects. Developed architecture for the SPECTRAL project, the Navy JIE/JRSS Implementation project, and the Navy Insider Threat project. Developed Functional Interface Diagrams (FIDs) for Information Dominance Enterprise Architecture (IDEA) project. Developed to-be architecture for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Platform Network Architecture (PNA)(winning a Lightning Bolt award). Providing Technical Authority (TA) support, reviewing Department of Defense (DoD) program Information Support Plans (ISPs) and other documents for DoDAF 2.02 compliance and architecture maturity. Provided architecture reviews for System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) of PORs. Authored all project documentation, providing systems engineering support for the FORCEnet Implementation Tool Suite (FITS) product using the Agile spiral development method. Developed process improvement documentation/ infrastructure and a Quality System based on the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI-DEV version 1.2) with SPAWAR Software Engineering Process Office (SEPO) guidance, for two different organizations. Developed and validated test bed configurations and tested numerous U.S. Navy integrated Combat Systems at the Integrated Combat System Test Facility (ICSTF), Point Loma, CA. Proficient in architecture development (DoDAF 2.02) using MagicDraw (Cameo Enterprise Architect) and IBM System Architect, and all systems engineering disciplines.
