Construction professional holding roles through Resident Engineer for DOT infrastructure projects, with a Structural Engineering design background. Specialization in oversight of heavy civil bridge and highway projects for Connecticut and municipalities. Formerly a RE on a $40M CTDOT retaining walls project, Chief on the CTDOT $150M highway interchange 74 reconstruction project in East Lyme; Chief for a complicated, 4-year Fed-Local, multistage, continuous-span 160' steel girder bridge over the Quinnipiac River in N. Haven; Chief for a 4-lane 74’ wide x 70'-span steel Fed-Local bridge in Hamden; Chief for 3-sided concrete-frame Fed-Local bridge in New Haven; Chief for a Fed-Local bridge replacement and intersection/signal rebuild in Somers. Was a Senior Inspector for the $200M I-84 Waterbury "Mixmaster" rehabilitation project, as well as at the CAA CT Airport Authority for the Terminal B Demolition project at Bradley Intl. Airport; Sr. Inspector for a CT DAS/DCS parking lot and road construction project at Manchester Community College; Inspector for Springfield, MA DPW & FEMA leading roadway reconstruction after the June 2011 tornado. Former Structural Engineer designer, having specialized in structural bridge design early on, including overall layout/design, modeling, detailing, drafting, cost estimating, utility relocation, and scheduling. Developed Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimates for CT DOT/Town bridge and road projects of various sizes. Achieved PE license via this succession of project experience in 2011, and Master's relating to railroad & highway bridge design in 2012. Further specialization related to rail infrastructure, with bridge safety and load rating inspections of over 100 railroad bridges throughout CT. Misc experience inspecting buildings, dams, and tunnels (including the Big Dig in MA), as well as building rehab plans and load assessment, including fire department burn buildings and academic building roof snow loads.
