About David Hoey

Recently completed my final year of pursuing a CIPD-accredited BSc (Hons) degree in Human Resource Management, from which I graduated with a 1:1 grade. Since February 2023, I have been working at DHL Global Forwarding. My responsibilities include assisting with the entire recruitment process, organising various training sessions and programs, and maintaining employee data with the utmost accuracy and confidentiality. In addition to this, I assist in Health & Safety tasks, curate various reports, support the introduction of new training initiatives, and contribute to employee engagement programs. Leading our mentoring partnership with BITCI, I curate and conduct interactive workshops and presentations for 5th Year LCA students in a local school. I have also recently begun facilitating the one-day, activity-filled induction workshop that all new starters participate in within their first six months of joining the company.
