Hi, thanks for taking your time to view my Profile. I am currently considering new roles in London, in Audio Engineering, Music, Datacentre Operations or perhaps something completely new! I am open to explore new skills, such as Robotics, AI or Blockchain. I have worked in IT for 23 years (mostly for Fujitsu on multiple accounts) and before this I worked 5.5 years at CSC (DXC Technology) at Save and Prosper (J.P.Morgan Asset Management) and Schroders Investment Management. Here's my experience in few paragraphs: I was an early adopter of computers and the internet in the 80/90s. I then developed an interest in Music Technology; computers and hardware such as digital mixing consoles and audio software. I focused on my music ambitions and went on to further train and work in this area, including two years in Portugal. With the IT knowledge from the Music Technology, I decided to take a one year City and Guilds Computer Technician course and I've now worked in Datacentre environments for over two decades, working shifts (days and nights) in Operations (In Logistics, Print, Data Centre and Office environments) including three years in a Hardware Planning role which was blended multi-site and WFH. My working hours are condensed into 12 hour shifts, so that, with annual leave, I have been able to take breaks between heavy work schedules, to advance my Music/Audio skills, travelling around Europe and Brazil, becoming fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. Although very happy within my team in the area of Datacentres, I am open to learn new exciting emerging technologies such as Cloud, IoT, AI and Robotics. I also have a passion for music and languages.
