About David Howard

I'm fortunate to be helping some of our largest UK Public Sector / Central Government organisations exploit cloud services from Microsoft and specifically Azure. As government seeks to enhance citizen services, reduce technical debt, lower operational costs and exploit new technologies we have moved from a traditional 'stop me and buy some' approach to being fully aligned to Microsoft's mission to empower people and organisations on the planet to achieve more. My purpose is to support the successful adoption of Azure across the extensive set of capabilities; this includes helping organisations build talent through training and knowledge transfer, to optimizing and managing the cloud. Creating impactful outcomes using tools from IaaS and PaaS to data/AI and a sprinkling of Power Platform in between. A key part of my work is liaising with a range of Systems Integrators, ISV's and orchestrating during pursuit and delivery the amazing team of technical practitioners that Microsoft has, being a leader through coaching and influencing, and also striving to collaborate where it supports the customers outcome.
