About David Jeon

Currently, I am a Merchant at Arc’teryx bringing together my background and experience in data and analytics with my in-depth knowledge of retail operations and consumer behaviour. As a business development lead at Strategic Projects Inc, I leveraged my machine learning expertise to reduce erosional risk and optimize well production. I developed automated data querying and processing with SQL, MQTT, and Python, and implemented a real-time, CI/CD machine learning pipeline. I also managed model maintenance, results presentation, data governance, client relationship management, and long-term strategy of the project. In addition to my technical skills, I have a strong background in business operations, having worked as an associate merchant and product guide at Arc'teryx Equipment. I demonstrated high performance in all areas of business operations, including shipment processing, floor sales, BOH management, and customer service. I am adaptable in all environments and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calgary. I am also certified in machine learning with Python, deep learning & neural networks with Keras, and deep neural networks with PyTorch.
