About David Jerke
David attended North Dakota State University where he received his BLA. Having grown-up in the landscape industry David has spent time as a nursery hand, irrigation installer, landscape designer, and landscape architect. This experience has led him to have a firm practical knowledge on how to create innovative designs that can ultimately be constructed. In his time at VDZ+A, Dave has worked on some of the Lower Mainland’s most influential parks and public open spaces. He also specializes in leading our splash park and synthetic turf field division. Dave makes time to serve on the City of Vancouver’s Urban Design Panel, and has also been a guest speaker at several municipalities discussing action sports and splash parks and their place in the parks and recreation culture.
