My experience in the hospitality sector started as a cook in A La Carte restaurants and later in a cafeteria at the local college as a cook, before I started offshore as a cook and then got the chance to be Chief Steward./Campboss. I have gained extensive experience as Chief Steward / Camp Boss on the following functions- Preparing emails, reports and other correspondences on a daily basis - Inspections in the Galley, Messrooms, Provision rooms, Scullary and the rest of the Accommodation areas- Prepare Provisions, cabin stores and bonded stores orders- Check and loading of all provisions, cabin stores and bonded stores- Conducts inventory on all provisions, cabin stores and bonded stores- Prepares inventory reports- Plans weekly menus together with the cooks- Updates the vessel management regarding maintenance and reports- Prepare Cabin plans and Cabin allocation for clients and crew- Secures documents (Passports, seamens books, training certificates and diplomas) from crew, scans them and upload on to company crewing system- Conducts Safety Inductions and Familiarisation tours for NEW CREW- Prepares IMO crew list for ENOA and ENOD (Electronic Notification of Arrival and Departure)- Prepares Safe Sea Net - Prepares Crew list, Muster list and Roll Call list every crew change- Prepares IMO crew's effects declaration - Prepares all T-cards and ID-cards for the gangway.(W2W)- Filing of Observation Cards- Helicopter administration such as: Weighing of luggage and Pax, safety induction (video), manifests and toolbox talks- Medic team leader.
