Background
About David Kayrouz
Personal Statement: I bring passion and experience to the subject of innovation and creativity. As a leader and facilitator in this field I see many 'out of the box' improvement processes and change initiatives fail as the underlying mindsets don't support the process. Bringing together the ownership of the learner with optimum understandings of Head Heart and Hand challenges assumptions, shift perceptions enabling individuals and teams to produce meaningful results. Profile Summary: As the director of Creative Pathways I am focused on empowering individuals to solve complex challenges through continuous learning. Creative Pathways services methodically empower develop and embed a culture of creative capability and continuous improvement. Practical workshops open communication and kick start intrinsic engagement by creating trust and opening minds and hearts to peoples diverse ways of understanding. When people feel engaged, connected and excited by curiosity for others views, they quickly develop ownership of tasks and a shared appetite for success. Resilience, resourcefulness, and a sense of well being become matter of fact as everything done becomes more meaningful. Workshops centre on practical experience necessary to develop and implement the feelings that drive capability in people. Many people don't consider themselves ‘creative’ and this is lamentable as it is a limiting mindset. Everyone is creative, all they need is to be shown how. Creative capability, a pre-requisite for innovation, is intimately wound up in our own everyday understanding of how we learn and adapt; arguably the most critical life skill we can develop. Over the last 15 years, through unleashing peoples imaginations, I have facilitated the innovation and organisational change required in sectors of government, corporate and private organisations in New Zealand and Europe. These outcomes have also significantly contributed to work efficiency, engagement, and well-being where they have been implemented.
