About David Kelertas

David Kelertas is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Red Hat Certified Engineer with over 25 years of experience in system administration, system engineering, and modern DevOps practices within the software development industry.More recently, David has expanded his expertise into Microsoft Azure, where he has designed and implemented Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates and Azure DevOps pipelines. His experience includes building and deploying cloud infrastructure such as virtual networks, virtual machines, Azure Service Fabric clusters, Kubernetes clusters, databases, and App Services, as well as CI/CD pipelines for both in-house and third-party applications.Throughout his career, David has played a key role in designing, managing, and supporting the end-to-end development and delivery pipeline as it has evolved from traditional infrastructure to cloud-native platforms. Automation, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment are central to his approach, enabling faster and more reliable delivery of features and fixes while maintaining secure, consistent, and highly available environments.Prior to joining TelstraSuper, David spent five years working in the Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) space at TechnologyOne, a successful SaaS enterprise software vendor. During this time, he obtained his AWS Solutions Architect certification and worked closely with fellow DevOps engineers as the organisation transitioned its platforms to AWS. This experience significantly strengthened his DevOps capabilities, building on a deep foundation in system administration and engineering.David also brings excellent client-facing and business communication skills, developed through onsite representation and service delivery at customer locations around the globe. He is highly adaptable, thrives in unfamiliar environments, and has a strong track record of stepping into new technical and customer-facing roles with minimal preparation.David is seeking to continue his career in a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps Engineer role within a forward-thinking organisation, where his technical depth, adaptability, and collaborative approach can be fully leveraged to support scalable, reliable, and efficient platforms.
