About David Keogh

Holder of a B.Sc. in Sports Science and Health from IT Tallaght, with over a decade of experience in private hospital operations and strategic leadership within the fields of bariatric and cosmetic surgery. Began in 2012 as Patient Care Coordinator within Auralia’s bariatric unit, with responsibility for patient management and care pathways. Successfully developed the unit into Ireland’s largest bariatric service, establishing and leading a multidisciplinary team, and overseeing clinical and administrative operations as Head of Department. Appointed to Auralia’s senior management team in 2020, progressed to Acting CEO in 2024, and formally appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2025. Currently responsible for the strategic and operational direction of Auralia, Ireland’s leading cosmetic and bariatric surgery hospital, operating across three locations and having provided care to over patients nationwide. Over the last number of years, completed courses in Financial Accounting and Entrepreneurship through Harvard Business School, with a focus on executive-level decision-making and organisational growth. Regular participant in national media discussions regarding surgical procedures and the wider healthcare services offered at Auralia.
