I have a sound knowledge of CADD production in land development projects as well as the various phases of these projects from concept to survey and through construction documentation to as-builds. I offer an efficient and effective approach to work assignments which allows me to consistently meet or surpass deadlines. My technical proficiency results in the need for minimal resources for quality control of my work, thereby ensuring the appropriate cost controls of the project’s bottom line. My experience spans more than two decades, with civil engineering being the majority, CADD management, CADD instructor, software implementation and support. Over the years I have worked with several project design teams in various engineering disciplines. I have prepared exhibits for conceptual project designs, created survey plats for subdivisions and roadways as well as detailed construction drawings for subdivisions, roadways, commercial sites and major water and wastewater treatment plants. Areas of work include: research of parcel ownership information, property line and right-of-way locations, FEMA studies, preparation of Right-of-Entry Agreements, process field survey data, 3D surface modeling, horizontal and vertical alignments of roadways and pipelines, reinforced concrete detailing, site grading, utility mapping and plan and profiles for roadways and utilities. I have an excellent knowledge of preparing 3D drawings for virtual construction methods or for design interference review purposes. The CADD and design software that I have utilized are Autodesk’s AutoCAD versions 12 - to current year and Autodesk Civil 3D 2008 - to current year.
