About David Kinnear

David Kinnear, founder and leader of the Kinnear Private Wealth Management Group of BridgePoint Wealth Partners, has been helping a select group of ultra-high net worth clients navigate multiple market cycles for nearly 30 years. David draws on extensive personal knowledge gained working with wealth creators and is committed to continually evolving his skills to keep pace with the ever-expanding and increasingly complex needs of high-net-worth investors. He coordinates with his clients’ other professional advisors – such as attorneys, accountants, and trust administrators – to help ensure that their investment plan and overall wealth management strategies are cohesive and address the many facets of their financial life. Away from the office, David is an active member of his community and serves on the Board of Trustees for The Cancer Research Foundation, which is one of the world’s leading Cancer Research Venture Philanthropists, making early investments in bold ideas in the fight against cancer. He formally served on the board of Erie Elementary Charter School in Chicago and is an active supporter of The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. David and his wife, Andrea, have been married since 1994 and enjoy spending time with their two sons, wirehaired pointing griffon and playing tennis and pickleball. As stewards of a property formerly owned by the Boy Scouts of America, they are also dedicated to the conservation of Michigan’s Western Upper Peninsula.
