Served the School District of Philadelphia for forty-four years as a teacher of Horticulture and Environmental Education (twenty years), Principal of Abraham Lincoln High School (ten years) and Swenson Arts and Technology High School (eight years) and Deputy Chief of Career and Technical Education (six years). As Deputy responsible for 136 CTE programs in 35 high schools in the city as well as 23 JROTC programs in high schools. Established the Horticulture and Environmental Technology Academies as Academy Coordinator while teaching. Awarded the Lindenbaum Teacher of the Year award from by School District as well as the Lindback Foundation Distinguished Principal Award. Established and manages the Philadelphia Sister City High School Student Exchange Program in cooperation with the Philadelphia Mayor's office and the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia. Has established over fifty student exchanges for high schools in Philadelphia and Sister Cities worldwide since 1992. Currently also conducts Career Academy reviews for the National Career Academy Coalition.
