I am a highly skilled and accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in the academic sector. More specifically, my executive leadership positions have included Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent, School Principal and currently, High School President. I have successfully lead school systems with as many as 2,300 high school students, 300 employees and an operating budget of $80 million. My professional skill set includes operations management, leadership coaching, strategic planning, human resources, fundraising and donor relations, capital projects, program development and board relations. Additionally, I have also served in leadership positions for state and local service organizations. My leadership success can be attributed to uncompromised integrity, loyalty to my organization and teammates, hard work and gracious professionalism in all situations. I believe in and remain committed to collaboratively establishing and communicating a shared organizational vision founded upon clear strategic objectives. High performance and solution-oriented organizational structures must be designed with the talent, resources and technological support to drive desired results. I rely heavily on the use of metrics to track actual performance goals in real time, thereby, taking a proactive versus reactive approach to risks and opportunities. It is my belief that all leaders must serve as a catalyst for positive change, transformation and continuous improvement. I am well-versed in community outreach, public speaking and presenting, marketing and institutional branding and, most importantly, building trusting relationships with internal and external constituency groups. The aforementioned relationship building success encompasses donor sources including alumni, corporations and endowments. My educational credentials include a Superintendent’s Certificate from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master's Degree in Education Administration, and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education: Mathematics from the University of Scranton, along with a BBA in Marketing from the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina.
