David Koepf brings more than 23 years of experience in IT related fields. He worked for 10 years in an automotive manufacturing facility in varying roles. Each new role brought increased responsibility. Roles included, lead controls engineer, application manager and account executive. David went on to lead a diverse global team of project managers and deployment engineers tasked with deploying complex Manufacturing Execution Systems across more than 40 manufacturing facilities across the globe. The projects had tight deadlines and even tighter budgets and he was able to consistently deliver on time and on budget. He has held roles as an Operations Manager responsible for IT Incident Management and Problem Management across all manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia Pacific as well as a major communication and emergency service with in the automotive industry. He was brought in as an expert in Incident and Problem Management to implement and manage improvements to processes, tools and overall communication to leadership and the customer, resulting in better first time quality and higher customer satisfaction. In his latest role as the Program Manager for Storage Core Engineering he is responsible for managing multiple Storage Core Engineering projects which include code currency, new product proof of concepts, new product engineering, new features and functionality and standardization/improvement of process and documentation. This is a highly dynamic environment dealing with latest in storage technology with an eye to reducing complexity and cost in our storage eco-system with a focus on improved stability.
