About David Krek
I have an extensive background in commercial construction including tenant fit-outs, renovations and base buildings. In 1986, I started as an engineer's assistant with Miller & Long and worked my way to a supervisory position at Brothers Concrete. I have ten years experience in the commercial concrete trade. I moved to General Contracting as an Assistant Superintendent with Harvey-Cleary. In 2003 I became a Project Superintendent and have continued to work in that capacity. In September of 2018 I went back to my roots, concrete. I am now a Project Manager for Hardesty Concrete Construction Inc. After 33 years in the field running a single project, I am now overseeing multiple projects and working with an amazing team, both in the office and in the field. In 2020 in received my OSHA-500 certification and became the Director of Safety for Hardesty Concrete. I am excited about this new opportunity and looking forward to, as is our motto,'taking safety to the next level'.
