About David Krisna

I didn’t get into tech to chase titles — I got into it because I like solving problems and keeping systems safe. That mission hasn’t changed. With a background in Computer Science and ISC2 CC in cybersecurity, I’ve grown into a role where I bridge technical problem-solving, secure system design, and people-focused leadership. At Manulife Investment Management, I built and optimized internal tools and supported system migrations to ensure reliability, security, and smooth operations. At Mixnetwork.id, I strengthened my cloud and infrastructure skills by improving database security, optimizing performance, and supporting threat analysis workflows. On the enterprise side, I’ve contributed to ISO 27001 readiness and built automated dashboards and workflows at Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia — helping teams reduce operational risk, improve visibility, and work more securely. Outside pure engineering, I’ve learned the importance of communication and leadership. As Secretary General of PERMIAS Nasional, I led national-scale initiatives, partnering with Google, Meta, Amazon, EY, Deloitte, and other global companies to support students and young professionals. Today, I’m expanding deeper into cloud security and governance — working on projects like a Secure Database Access Management System and preparing for certifications such as CISM and CISA to strengthen my understanding of risk, identity, and secure architecture. My goal is simple: build systems that are secure, reliable, and help people do their best work without friction.
