About David Kruse

I hold certifications as an American Institute of Certified Planning (AICP) professional and a Professional Transportation Planner (PTP). I am responsible for multimodal planning, transportation analysis, transportation demand management plan development, parking studies, geospatial analysis, and public outreach. My training in urban and regional planning, coupled with over 13 years of diverse experiences in transportation planning, enables me to bring a unique set of skills to projects that help achieve my client’s vision from start to finish. With this experience, I understand the intrinsic linkage between transportation, land use, urban design and health, and how these disciplines work to shape a community. I have worked in over 100 municipalities in New York State, as well as several communities in Pennsylvania. Additionally, I have worked on nearly a dozen Genesee Transportation Council UPWP sponsored planning studies, including active transportation plans, safety assessments, and community-wide circulation, accessibility, and parking studies. I take pride in building and cultivating relationships with agencies, DOTs, DPWs, and community officials in Western, Central, and the Finger Lakes regions of New York.
