About David Lamers

I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that” is something I never say, but always live up to. Never say, because I am a modest, patient and emphatic leader who is aware of his own appearance and interactions. Always live up to, because I have the skills to easily absorb and understand complex information easily, have strong analytical and creative skills and can easily judge opportunities and make well founded decisions. My main interests lie in innovation, strategy, IT and product development. I founded the start-up Datakeeper (powered by Rabobank) and let the team grew from 2 engineers and myself to a successful highly purpose driven organization. As co-founder of Datakeeper I created, led and inspired the team, while working on our strategic direction and translate this to tangible results for our customers. Making impact and contributing to challenges and transitions with high societal relevance is very important to me. That's why after this amazing journey I decided to contribute my passion to the energy transition at Alliander. I'm responsible for our digitalisation strategy and taking ownership of our top priority AI, next to AI governance, ethics and technology adoption. I'm working for our CIO as strategic advisor.
