About David Liotta

Wellness has been THE consistent theme throughout my life. At 15 I was introduced to triathlon and Zen meditation by my eccentric Spanish teacher and Zen monk, Mr. King. I ate my first rice cake, and fueled by endorphins and teenage hormones, I started crafting habits around the idea that human potential is a product of process, not endpoints. Nearly 4 decades later, I find myself building and running a cutting edge longevity program for Monterey Spine And Joint. My undiminished curiosity in the Sciences and Humanities has provided me not just with the right lenses but the right of eyes for the medicine 3.0 movement. My journey has been enriched by being a competitive amateur triathlete (4 Hawaii Ironman finishes), graduate level education in Exercise Physiology, and as an instructor in Cabrillo College’s department of Kinesiology and Health Science for nearly 20 years. More recently, I've been blessed with mentorship from Dr. Yvonne Cagle, Dr. Guy Hatch, and the many excellent providers at AC Wellness (Apple's employee health care team).
