About David Loggans

David is a fully licensed counselor in Florida and Georgia. He has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Business Administration, from Saint Leo University. David has spent over 15 years studying the teachings of Alfred Adler, MD (Adlerian Psychology), William Glasser, MD (Reality Therapy), and John Gottman, Ph.D.(the Gottman Method for Couples Counseling). He was a board member of the Florida Adlerian Society for 6 years (2013 to 2018) where they planned and administrated the yearly educational conference in Safety Harbor, Florida. David has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. He has been employed in Insurance, the Florida Prison System, Tampa Court System’s Victim Assistance Program, Community Based Services, South Tampa Hospital, and he ran a successful group practice in St. Petersburg, Florida for nearly 10 years. David was a manager for a non-profit behavioral health assessment program for four years and in 2021 to 2023 he ran a Substance Abuse, Intensive Outpatient Program. As a result of David’s eclectic background, he is highly adept with change work. In 2021, David became trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. This is a rapid-eye reprocessing technique that David uses to treat trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and intrusive thoughts with GREAT success.
