About David Lonza

With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, I am a seasoned executive and expert in quality management systems (QMS), process improvement, and regulatory compliance. As the President of Amarex Clinical Research, I oversee the global operations and strategy of a leading contract research organization that provides clinical trial services to biotech and pharma companies. I also serve as the Global Vice President of the Health Sciences Division at NSF International, a public health and safety organization that offers testing, auditing, certification, and consulting services to the health care sector. In these dual roles, I leverage my skills and knowledge in QMS, risk management, auditing, validation, and engineering to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy for our clients and stakeholders. Previously, I held various leadership positions at Lachman Consultant Services, Lifecycle Technologies, Integrated Controls Group, Alpharma, Faulding Pharmaceuticals, and Purepac Pharmaceuticals, where I led and supported numerous projects and initiatives in product development, supply chain, engineering, logistics, and manufacturing. My core competencies include strategic planning, business development, project management, stakeholder engagement, and team building. My mission is to drive quality and innovation in clinical research and health sciences, and to contribute to the advancement of public health and patient care.
