I've a keen interest in SI engines and specialise in development of calibration / control strategies and methodologies related to data acquisition, modelling and optimization. My main professional interests are- Engine test bed data acquisition, automation systems and development thereof- Design & analysis of experiments- Data analysis, modelling and optimization in Python- SI engine combustion, gas exchange and emission formation- Development of control strategies- Cylinder pressure measurement and analysis- Hybrid systems, their effects and interactions with SI engines. Profound knowledge and experience within test bench data acquisition, design of experiments and control system development/calibration. Development of methods & tools for data acquisition (incl. automation systems), data processing, modelling & optimization work flows. My focus is mainly on mean value & time series problems related to combustion and gas exchange. I thoroughly enjoy coming up with new applications for various ML techniques and develop data acquisition methods. Taken part in numerous extreme climate vehicle testing expeditions on different continents. Experience from about a dozen engine programs or more over the past thirteen years.
