About David Lorenz

I am proud to have been born and raised in Colorado, and enjoy the vast number of sports, recreation, and benefits Colorado has to offer. It is important to me to take pride, and to encourage community support which was offered to me as a child, and I continue to look forward to giving back to my community the knowledge and experiences I have learned from around the world. As a detailed driven worker, I focus on standards and procedures, so the work is right the first time. Being a fast learner in new environments, constantly striving to improve myself, and offering ideas will help expedite work and to minimize costs. I am excited to learn new ways of communication with the state-of the-art equipment and to work with others to expand the use and capabilities of this equipment. Through the twenty plus years I have worked in telecommunications, I have learned about many of the new and exciting pieces of equipment and technology that goes with it. I have assembled, maintained, and repaired assets from 10-Meter antennas to building equipment racks for use at the transmission facilities and at Mile-Hi Stadium, and helped configure a data center with Spectrum. I have experience in the Master Control environment. I also bring with me twenty years of military experience and discipline. My security clearance in the military was Secret. I have been awarded many personal honors for my work in the Marine Corps. Four of them are the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement medals. I have also received honors from the President of the United States, Secretary of the Navy, and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
