About David Ludwig

I've been active in the environmental field since I was a junior in high school, with work experience including water sampling, land conservation, sustainable agriculture, policy, forestry, and environmental law. My jobs, internships, and volunteer experiences have given me a breadth of practice in field work and in policy analysis settings. I have experience ranging from data collection to data analysis to policymaking. My education at Cornell University has allowed me to study under leading experts in the field of natural resources. I have conducted bird surveys, aquatic invertebrate samples, soil analyses, and forest inventories, to name a few. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to study environmental policy at Cornell and in Washington, D.C, consulting with leading policymakers on issues of funding for federal land management agencies. My experience as an EMT has grown my leadership skills and creative problem solving, and I recognize the need to plan and prepare for coming environmental risks as humans continue to change the Earth.
