About David Luthman

I love to make things happen. To inspire people to use their skills and talents toward something greater in collaboration with others. I look for the long game, the grand visions, but can get into nitpicking details when needed. I want to get things into motion, always improving, moving, and then hand it to those even more capable of maintaining the motion. As an engineer I have been able to bring this innovative and holistic mindset to bear in various environments. However, a common theme has been my ability to integrate teams and people of various skills to create something greater than the sum of the individual contributions. In groups I have often found myself being the one taking initiative when there is uncertainty, pulling together the right people and setting the initial direction. When everyone has gotten going I am more than happy to step back and let the team perform, while continuing to explore ways to accelerate their work. This has led me to start my journey as a leader and manager, a journey I'm excited to be on, and a journey which is only made possible by all the other great people I meet on it.
