I have been a member of the Paris Bar since 2004 and an accredited mediator since 2017. As a lawyer, I practice mainly in business litigation (breach of commercial contracts, distribution, hidden defects, dismissal of directors, conflicts between partners, etc.), real estate and criminal law for French and international clients in the following sectors: banking, biotechnologies, luxury goods and art, automobile manufacturing, energy, real estate, cosmetics, security. I practice the full range of amicable dispute resolution methods (interest-based negotiation, mediation, collaborative law, participative procedures), and prefer a transactional approach to my cases whenever possible. Rated "High Reputation" in commercial litigation by the professional Guide Décideurs / Litigation and Arbitration, in 2021, 2022 and 2023. As a mediator, I intervene in commercial, real estate, shareholder/partner and succession disputes involving the following sectors: energy, construction, international trade, ready-to-wear, agri-food, information and communication technologies, fund-raising. An accredited mediator with the Centre de Médiation d'Arbitrage de Paris (CMAP), I am certified by several French and international organizations (International Mediation Institute - IMI), and registered on the list of mediators of numerous jurisdictions and institutions in France (Cours d'appel de Paris, Province and Overseas) and internationally (Middle East and Africa). I act as a mediator when appointed by recognized institutions (International Chamber of Commerce, Paris Mediation and Arbitration Centre), the courts or directly by the parties, on the recommendation of their lawyers where appropriate. I'm currently interested in the conflicts induced by the energy transition and how to prevent and manage them. Rated "Excellent" in mediation by the professional Guide Décideurs / Litigation and Arbitration, in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Mediation practice (both as mediator and lawyer) awarded a Special Mention at the 2024 edition of the Sommet du Droit in Paris. Vice-Chairman of the Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), I teach mediation in several Masters programs in litigation and arbitration at universities, and regularly give lectures on the subject in France and around the world.
