About David M. Bonnet

Dr. Bonnet is an innovative executive with 20+ years of experience driving system-wide transformation, operational excellence and high-quality patient care. He’s a collaborative leader skilled in communication and building consensus among disparate groups in driving organizational alignment. His skills are uniquely broad in providing clinical leadership at 50+ hospitals across 15+ systems managing 550+ physician and physician leaders. He had a reputation for identifying and developing talent; building strong relationships with executive teams, board of directors, physicians and staff; and being a “fixer” of problems. Additionally, Dr. Bonnet was actively involved in developing Texas Medical Association’s long-term strategic plan. Currently, Dr. Bonnet is the System Chief Medical Officer of High Reliability Medicine for University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland, a 22-hospital not-for-profit health system in Northeast Ohio. His role is to build innovative and repeatable processes and metrics for system-wide standardization of clinical, process quality and financial across the entire continuum of patient care.Dr. Bonnet has a passion for delivering quality patient care from his prior years as a Medical Director, hospitalist and private practitioner.
