About David M. Klein

I am General Counsel at QuisLex, Inc, an alternative legal services provider with over lawyers. In this role, I serve as General Counsel, handling a wide variety of legal issues, as well as developing and implementing marketing, sales and business development strategy for QuisLex's contract management services. I am an expert on the structuring and negotiation of complex technology and technology-related transactions including outsourcing transactions, technology development and licensing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, financing and other corporate transactional matters. I have strong experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, Internet and e-commerce. My practice also encompasses the intellectual property aspects of complex financing transactions including capital markets, securitization and structured finance transactions. I have been recognized in Chambers USA and Legal 500 as a leader in the field of technology and IT outsourcing. I am also the author of a book on the handling of intellectual property issues in corporate transactions titled Intellectual Property in Mergers and Acquisitions, published by West Group. Prior to practicing law, I worked as an avionics systems engineer on the B-2 bomber program developing automatic target recognition systems. I received a B.E. degree in electrical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 1986. I received a J.D. degree from New York University School of Law in 1992. I am admitted to the New York and Connecticut bars, in addition to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
