About David MacEdo

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas to parents who taught me the value of hard work and determination. I spent hundreds of hours outside with my dad working on cars, inspiring me to pursue a career in mechanical engineering. I pride myself on bringing a different perspective to problem-solving through creative ideas and solutions. I have experience performing large-scale data analysis using Microsoft Excel and Minitab software. Also experienced with SolidWorks, having designed automobile parts, scissor lift components, and other miscellaneous parts for academic projects. I've started learning Ansys to further improve my modeling skills and learn techniques for performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA). I have 6+ years of experience in the service industry and this has taught me the importance of effective communication within a multi-functional team. I also volunteer at my local church in the Sound/Visual Department. I am currently seeking a full-time position for the opportunity to build upon my academic foundation and grow into a professional. I love working hands-on and thrive in environments where questions are encouraged. I am excited to connect with like-minded professionals who share my passion for innovation.
