About David Mager

Outgoing, active, and ambitious doctor. I will always take every opportunity to participate in fascinating research, difficult discussions, or challenging jobs. I am especially interested in the development of medical devices as disease-monitoring tools. Currently, I am doing a PhD candidate at the Erasmus MC. The aim of my PhD is to improve lung disease monitoring in children with cystic fibrosis, preferably non-invasively. To achieve this goal, I am validating exhaled breath analysis techniques, like eNose and GC-MS, and multiple biomarkers in blood, urine, and sputum. The used techniques generate complex data, which I analyze by using machine learning algorithms in R. Whenever I got some spare time I will try to compose songs or develop an app.
